Sunday 8 September
1pm to 4pm (with break at 2.30pm)
£3. All ages, limited capacity of 14 people
This claymation workshop run by Can Do Academy will allow participants to make a complete animated film on an iPad, using sound effects, visual effects, titles and lots of imagination! Children are able to use plasticine to make their models come to life through the magic of animation.
The workshop will follow a screening of MACROPOLIS – the story of two reject toys who escape from the factory. Determined to rejoin the other toys, they lose themselves in the big city. Shot in an unusual combination of stop motion, CGi and time-lapse photography, this short film was animated entirely on the streets of Belfast. All ages and abilities very welcome. This promises to be a super-fun event!
