We are very excited to have Joe Kenny as our headline act for this special evening. Singer, musician and songwriter Joe Kenny is no stranger to University of Atypical. He has already performed twice at our annual Bounce Festival. Joe has a wealth of experience across a 25-year career. Edwin McFee described him in the Sunday Life as ”full to the brim with super-smooth melodies and spell-binding fret wizardry”.
Joe wows audiences with his unique guitar style, and an uncompromising vocal delivery that has enthralled and entertained audiences in venues throughout Ireland and beyond. Joe, who now lives in Belfast, is totally blind. He confesses that he has played his guitar “the wrong way round” for far too long to stop now. You can find out more about Joe on his website. Download or stream Perfect Fool, the debut EP from Joe Kenny via Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music or wherever you stream music.
