Join artist and artistic director David Calvert for a master class in tried and tested physical theatre methods. This unique session has been devised with all abilities in mind and to satisfy your curiosity about the art form.

David has worked within theatre and movement practice for 40 years and would like to excite new interest in this creative process.
David has spent his professional life working in collaboration with artists, and participants of mixed abilities and invites you to spend an active 2 hours of physical theatre masterclass.

What to expect – The tone of this masterclass is set from the get go, starting with a warm welcome and time to engage with your breath. Once relaxed you will take a journey to explore a mind body connection. The session will be active and responsive to your body and ability, don’t worry if you have never tried anything like this before as we are working in a supportive creative space.
What to wear – this session will be physical so wear something comfortable and participants are invited to work barefoot should you wish. Appropriate footwear is advisable.

A limited number of places are available, so booking is required.

For many of us this kind of immersive experience can feel out of reach, especially during the colder months or in urban environments. This installation is a way to bring some of those benefits indoors: a moment of calm, light, and quiet connection.
