The new studio work uses field recordings from urban and rural settings, looking to find a balance between pessimism and positivity, binding elements of the two videos together in the environment constructed in the gallery.
Repurposed elements from past work are used in this exhibition including the aluminium tubing from ‘Establishing State’ (2019) and fabric that has been used in previous installations. The fabric has been transformed using natural dyes derived from plants and roots found in Una’s garden.
