“I’d like to write my life story.” ‘My Life With Them’ is the non-linear autobiography of Larry MacAree. His book is filled with rich anecdotes about Belfast from the late 1960s onward through the eyes of a curious and imaginative individual. Larry’s book is illustrated with a selection of his own drawings as well as remarkable analogue photographs collected by Larry through the years. Larry has been able to make his dream come true with the support of a Chris Ledger Legacy Award funded by Unlimited and the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.

Larry MacAree is learning disabled artist living in the L’Arche Community in Belfast. He recently completed a residency at PS Squared, Belfast (2022) and has exhibited in several group shows in Belfast.
